The Antioch Church
It was at Antioch that believers were first called Christians (Acts 11:26). The church turned their world upside-down with people from all walks of life responding to the gospel message. The church as a whole was committed to spreading the gospel. The secret behind it is the Holy Spirit. It was a church that was Holy Spirit-directed (Acts 13:2,5), Holy Spirit-led (Acts 11:23,24), and Holy Spirit – enabled (Acts 11:21).

Men still cry, “What must I do to be saved?”
The Bible provides a clear answer.
1. ACKNOWLEDGE: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “God be merciful to me a sinner” (Luke 18:13).
2. REPENT: “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish (Luke 13:3). “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19).
3. CONFESS: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). “If thous shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).
4. FORSAKE: “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord…for he will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:7).
5. BELIEVE: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:16).
6. RECEIVE: “He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:11, 12).
Why not make your eternal decision now and pray the following prayer?
“Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my way and follow Your way. I receive You now as my personal Saviour and Lord and invite You to manage my life from this day forward. Amen.”
